The Role

We are looking for a part / fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with experience managing a finance team within an SME. This individual will possess the necessary managerial skills and all-round accountancy knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Providing ongoing support, training and guidance to a finance team that includes a credit controller and assistant accountant.
• Manage all accounting functions using Xero accounting software.
• Processing monthly payroll payments and ensuring all statutory filings and payments are made on time.
• Completing all administrative tasks on company cars and expenses for the Sales Channel.
• You will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure all financial information is accurate and up to date.
• Taking responsibility for all statutory requirements on pensions.
• Assisting with reviewing insurance policies on a monthly/annual basis.
• Attend monthly management meetings providing relevant information on performance and variances.
• Cash Flow forecasting includes updating the cash flow with actuals and assisting/populating the cash flow with expected and long-term cash inflows and outflows.
• Undertaking ad-hoc projects for the Managing Director.
